Studies on p-tert-Butybenzoic Acid Synthesis

The synthesis of p tert butylbenzoic acid by oxidaiotn of p tert butyltoluene has been stu died .It was proved by the work that such factors as temperature,catalyst concentration and the ratio of raw materials to solvent have important effects on the reaction.A 100% of p tert butyltoluene convertibility and 87% yield to p tert butylbenzoic acid have been achieved through authors' research experiments.
