Abstract
A silane coupling agent with peroxy bond,(CH3O)3SiC3H6-O-O-C(CH3)3,was synthesized and its structure was characterized by IR spectrum.The polymerization of styrene initiated by the coupling agent was demonstrated by dilatometry and the graft polymerization on the glass fiber surface was verified by optical microscop,SEM and IR spectroscopy.The grafting rate of up to w=0.06 was observed.
