Material Element,Material Element Transformation and Superiority Analysis for Designing V-belt Transmission

A new method for designing V-belt transmission is proposed basing on Material Element transformation, which resulted from using the theory of Material Element Analysis and setting up the related functions on the extensible set. The key elements of evaluation for designing V-belt transmission were specified together with the corresponding qualification and the normalized qualification. The superiority of several designs, which started from a reasonable distribution of weighting factors was analyzed for getting the optimal design.
