Abstract

The design method of new axial flow impeller of RAF profile is developed.The mixing performances of RAF impeller are widely tested.It is showed that RAF impeller has the advantages of higher flow rate,lower power consumption,shorter mixing time and smaller segregation index, but the mass transfer coefficient in CMC solution is smaller than that of the Rushton turbine.
