Abstract
Li2SiO3:Eu3+ phosphor precursor was prepared via a simple ball-grinding solid state reaction at room temperature using LiOH·H2O,Si(OC2H5)4 and Eu(NO3)3·6H2O as raw materials,then after calcination at high temperature,a series of Li2SiO3:x% Eu3+ red phosphors were obtained.The influences of calcining temperature,dwelling time and Eu3+ contents on the structure and luminescent properties of as-prepared phosphors were investigated.The results indicated that the phase composition of Li2SiO3:x% Eu3+ did not change with the increase of Eu3+ content when x was in the range of 1.5 to 15,and the concentration quenching phenomenon did not appear until the value of x reached 12.When the calcining temperature was 1 173 K and the dwelling time was 2 h,the luminous intensity of the fluorescent system reached the maximum value.The Li2SiO3:Eu3+ phosphors showed an intense red emission,corresponding to the 5D0→7F2 (615 nm) transition of Eu3+under 467 nm excitation.
