Abstract:
The trifunctional epoxy resin(TEP) was synthesized by resorcinol diglycidyl ether and 1, 1, 1-tris-
p-hydroxypheny lethane, and cured with isophorone diamine(IPDA) and IPDA/2-ethyl-4-methylimidazole(2E4MZ) at room temperature. Curing reaction kinetics, curing degree, thermal stability were comparatively researched by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), thermogravimetric analysis(TGA), dynamic mechanical thermal analysis(DMA), tests of chemical resistance and tests of mechanical properties. The results show that the composite curing system has lower apparent activation energy, and the curing degree, glass transition temperature(
Tg) and corrosion resistance are better than IPDA curing system.
