Abstract:
Ge based chalcohalide glass is prepared by conventional melt-quenching process. Properties measurements include DSC, thermal expansion confficient, VISNIR and Z-scan method. Experimental results show that this glass presents the high thermal stability characterized by the big ΔT(ΔT>110 ℃). The transmission of Ge based chalcohalid glass is measured by Z-scan technique using Ti∶sapphire femtosecond laser pulses with open aperture. Strong nonlinear absorption properties is calculated according to the normalized transmission, which makes them the promising candidate materials for nonlinear optical devices.
