Abstract:
By using n-cumyl-potassium as an initiator and a-methyl-acryloyl chloride as a dereactor, a serious of poly(St-b-EO)-MA macromers, with definite molecular weight and assigned composition, has been synthesized by anionic polymerization method and charac-terization by FT-IR and ~1H-NMR. The number average functionality ((?)) of macromer was deterimined and the copolymerization of the macromer (M_1)and some vinyl monomers (M_2) was investigated. Experimental results reveal the reaction conditions did exert a great influence upon rates of the copolymerization of both macromer and some vinyl monomers.
