    Kinetic Study of Electrochemical Reduction of Nitrobenzene in a Rotating Electrode Reactor

    • 摘要: 采用旋转圆盘电极,研究了1.0mol/LH2SO4水溶液中硝基苯在Cu电极上电化学还原的反应动力学,获得了定量的动力学表达式。该工表征了反应简化机理:硝基苯电化学还原生成苯胲,苯胲继续电还原生成苯胺及经Bam-berger重排反应,在主体相生成对氨基苯酚。关联了反应物浓度、温度、电极电位对三个主要反应步骤速率的影响。获得的动力学表达式可用于反应器设计和过程模拟。

       

      Abstract: A reaction kinetic study for electrochemical reduction of nitrobenzene was performed at Cu electrode in H_2SO_4 aqueous solution.The study was carried out on a rotating disc electrode at four different temperatures. Quantitative reaction rates were obtained by di-fferential-conversion experiments and indentified by integral-conversion experiments.Thekinetic expressions represent a simplified schame for cleetroreduction of nitrobenzene to anilineand phenylhydroxylamine,and incorporate the dependence on reactant concentration,temperatureand potential.Results of this paper are suitable for use in reactor design and process moldeling.
