Abstract:
An internetbased design method of remote laboratory is proposed by integrating both virtual and remote laboratory techniques, which overcomes the shortcomings existing in either virtual laboratory or remote laboratory. Both functions and structure of the new remote laboratory are analyzed and designed in detail. A temperature experimental device is designed, which meets the requirements for remote laboratory. Moreover, the remote temperature measurement and control system of the above device is developed by adopting the proposed technique. The application results show that the proposed system has many good features including multiuser supporting, powerful, flexible and reliable characteristics, which can better meet the requirements for experimental teaching in remote engineering education.
