Abstract: This paper proposes three groups of polynomial cam curves,By evaluating theundetermined coefficient with optimization method in the light of specific usage,users maychoose an optimum curve from a set of the cam curves which must satisfy the boundary conditions.The paper provides figures which describe the rela tionship between the undetermindcoefficients and the characteristic values of the chosen cam curves.
