Abstract:
On the basis of the analysis of energy conversion efficiency of luminescent solar concentrators, the fluorescent dyes, Rhodamine and Perylene red, which have higher quantum yield fluorescence, were adopted as fluorescent materials. The concentration effects, the self-absorption of dye, the pholostability etc. were discussed. These experiments show that the Stokes shifts increase as the concentration of dyes increase, and therefore the selfabsorptions of dyes decrease. At higher concentrations of dyes, the quantum yield decrease, induced by self-quenching of fluorescence. The Photostability of Perylene red is better than that of Rhodamine.
