Abstract: A linear titration method of determining the amino content of chitosan using two equivalent points has been developed. The first equivalent point is obtained by the linear titration, while the second equivalent point is got by the indicator titration and the amino content of chitosan is then calculated. The results of our experiment show that the improved method is simple, reproducible and reliable.
