Abstract: Wavelet transform was used for thermal analysis signal to get multiresolusion, thus a good filtered thermal analysis signal was obtained. The start peak point,the end peak point of filtered signal can be set and the peak area can be calculated by automatic or manual manner easily. This method has been used in thermal analysis instruments. Wavelet transform was programmed by VB which was same as the other sorftware language in the instrument.
