Abstract:
A control system is designed to deal with the problem caused by multifeedstocks and low volume properties of biodiesel production process. At first, the transesterification kinetic model is adopted to build mechanism model. Then, the central composite rotatable design(CCRD) method is employed to optimize three factors in the transesterification process, and to obtain the optimal parameters. Finally, the controller which can adapt to feedstocks change is designed based on the model predictive control algorithm. Simulation shows that the designed adaptive control system can be used to improve the performance of the transesterification reactor.
