Abstract:
The isotherms of the extraction equilibrium have been given.The distribution ratios of phenol and m-cresol were shown to be very high in the extraction by tri-n-butyl-phosphate(TBP).In this investigation salting-out effect was studied.By means of the methods of doublelogarithmic slope and continuous variations,the composition of the extracted species between TBP and phenol,m-cresol was deduced respectively.Employing Clausius-Clapyron equation the en thalpy of the extraction reaction was measured and the structure of the extracted species was in vestigated by the infrared spectra of the loaded organic phases.
