    Preparation of Poly[methyl(3,3,3-trifluoropropyl)siloxane]by Reactive Processing in a Torque Rheometer

    • 摘要: 以硅醇钠为引发剂,二甲基亚砜(DMSO)为促进剂,在哈克流变仪的反应釜腔内合成聚三氟丙基甲基硅氧烷(PMTFPS)。考察了促进剂浓度、反应温度和时间等因素对PMTFPS的数均分子量和产率的影响,当DMSO促进剂浓度为0.017 mol/L,聚合温度为100 ℃,反应时间为2.5 min时,达到最优的聚合条件,此时得到的PMTFPS的数均分子量为2.47×105,产率为86.5%。进一步增加促进剂浓度、提高反应温度及延长反应时间,PMTFPS的分子量和产率不断下降。

       

      Abstract: Poly[methyl(3,3,3-trifluoropropyl)siloxane]-(PMTFPS) was synthesized in the mixing chamber of a torque rheometer using sodium silanolate as the initiator, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as the promoter. Effect of the promoter concentration, the reaction temperature and the reaction time on molecular weight and yield of PMTFPS were investigated. The optimum DMSO promoter concentration determined was at 0.017 mol/L, where the numberaverage molecular weight (Mn) of PMTFPS, 2.47×105, with the yield 86.5% was obtained at the optimal reaction temperature (100 ℃) for the optimal reaction time (2.5 min). With the further increase of DMSO concentration and reaction temperature, and the prolongation of reaction time, the molecular weight and yield of PMTFPS were decreased.
