Abstract:
This paper analyzes the speed bottleneck of the infrared reflection method to determine the real fixation of the pupil center. Aiming at the disadvantages of the transmission of images and the infrared reflection method, this paper designs an eye-movement measuring system (EMMS) based on infrared displacement sensor by adopting the technique of measuring the eyeball displacement. Both the advantages and disadvantages of EMMS are analyzed and the effectiveness on the accuracy of the calibration method is also discussed. The experiment shows that the proposed method can decrease the transmission quantity of the data, avoid the complicated image processing, and improve the measurement speed.
