    Luminescence Properties of Rare Earth Ion-Doped Aluminoborate Glass

    • 摘要: 用高温熔融法制备了Eu2+单掺和Dy3+Eu3+、Tb3+Eu3+共掺的硼铝酸盐玻璃,研究了其激发和发射光谱性能。结果表明:Eu2+单掺的玻璃在蓝光区域能够产生有效激发,并且发射峰呈现黄绿色发光,随着B2O3含量的增加,玻璃的配位场强度降低,Eu2+的发射峰发生蓝移。 Dy3+-Eu3+共掺玻璃中Dy3+在451 nm处呈现最强激发峰,在其激发下Dy3+向Eu3+产生能量传递,并发出蓝、黄和红光。Tb3+Eu3+共掺玻璃在482 nm蓝光的激发下,Tb3+向Eu3+产生能量转移,并发出绿、黄和红发光。这些发射带与蓝光发光二极管(LED)复合可产生白光。

       

      Abstract: Eu2+ mono and Dy3+Eu3+, Tb3+Eu3+ codoped aluminoborate glasses were prepared by hightemperature melting method.The photoluminescence of the obtained glasses were investigated in detail. The results show that Eu2+ monodoped aluminoborate glass can be effectively excited by blue light, and yellowgreen emission band is observed in the emission spectrum.With the increasing of the content of B2O3, the coordination field intensity of glasses decreases and a blue shift of the Eu2+ emission peak occurs.The strongest excitation peak of Dy3+ at 451 nm is observed in the Dy3+Eu3+ co-doped glasses. Under 451 nm excitation, Dy3+ and Eu3+ emit intense blue, yellow and red light, due to the efficient energy transfer from Tb3+ to Eu3+.Under 482 nm blue excitation, Tb3+Eu3+ codoped glasses emit green, yellow and red lights, and the energy transfer from Tb3+ to Eu3+ is observed. By combining these emission bands with blue LED, white light can be emitted.
