Abstract:
Resolution of D,L phenylalanine by enantioselective solvent extraction has been studied. The effect of concentration of phenylalanine in the aqueous and organic solvents, temperature, as well as metal ions on the enantioselectivity has been examined in the two phase system containing metal ions and N n dodecyl hydroxy L proline. It is shown that temperature and concentration of phenylalanine don't affect the results of resolution obviously while organic solvents and metal ions have visible effects.
