    环隙气升式反应器的开发——Ⅱ.维生素C两步发酵过程

    • 摘要: 在400mm直径的环隙气升式发酵罐(Ⅰ)内进行了两步发酵试验,由山梨醇制取维生素C的前体——2-酮基-L-古龙酸。测定了第二步发酵过程的氧传递速率和体积传质系数。实验表明,在产酸中期的平均体积传质系数仅为相同表观气速下,空气-水系统的体积传质系数的40%左右。采用性能指标PI作为评价发酵罐操作性能的标准,求得(Ⅰ)的最佳空气流量,并与机械搅拌罐(Ⅱ)作比较。发酵试验表明,(Ⅰ)非常适用于两步发酵过程。在适宜的操作条件下,其总收率可达85%左右。所以(Ⅰ)完全能替代(Ⅱ),从而大大节约能耗和投资费用。

       

      Abstract: The two-step fermentation process was studied for preparing 2-keto-l-gulonic acid, the precursor of vitamin C, from sorbitol in an annulus airlift fermentor (AALF) of 400 mm diameter.The oxygen transfer rate and volumetric mass transfer coefficient of the second step of the fermentation process were measured. The results show that the average volumetric mass transfer coefficients in middle stage of fermentation are onlg 40% of those in the air-water system at the same superficial gas velocity. A performance index for evaluating operation performance of fermentors was proposed.The optimum air flow rate of AALF was obtained, and it compared with the results of stirred-tank fermentor (STF). The results also show that AALF is a very suitable formentor for the two-step fermentation process.Under proper operation conditions, its fermentation yield is 85%.Therefore AALF can completely replace STF in industrial production, and greatly reduce power consumption and investment cost.
