Abstract: According to the analysis and discussion on gas-liquid two phase flow in bubbling zone and countercurrent foam zone in foam fractionation column, as well as the investigation of adsorptive mass transfer of surface active substants aross a gas-liquid surface a design method about foam fractionation columns operating under stable conditions was developed. By the method a set of foam fractionation columns on plant scale was designed.
