Abstract:
The degradation of dendritic poly(L lactide) dendron poly(ethylene glycol) dendron poly(L lactide) by proteinase K was studied by quartz crystal microbalance (QCM). This paper investigated the enzymatic degradation behaviors of dendrimers with the same grafted numbers but different molecular mass of polyesters, and with the same molecular mass of polyesters but different grafted numbers. The experimental results show that the grafted numbers and the molecular mass of polyesters have notable effects on the degradation of dendrimers. The degradation rate of dendrimers is accelerated with the increase of grafted numbers and the molecular mass of polyesters, and the molecular mass of polyesters plays a leading role.
