Abstract: On introducing the truncated Gaussian distribution vectors to describe uncertain parameters and weighting the optimization performance by probability density function,a new method for robust controller design has been developed.The resulting design is less conservative and compromises robust stability and performance.It also realises system performance tradeoffs for all situations between nominal and worst-case conditions and makes the design in the parameter space in its entirety.Simulation results illustrate its advantages.
