Abstract:
An experimental apparatus composed of adiabatic packed absorption and regeneration columns was established to simulate H 2S removal process. By this apparatus, the characteristics of desulphurization was compared with w =0.10 and w =0.30 MDEA aqueous solutions at the different rates of gas liquid. Several kinds of organic solvents added into MDEA ( w= 0.30) aqueous solutions were evaluated under the same operation conditions such as circulated solutions flow rate and regeneration heating load, and the results indicated that the performance of desulphurization solutions will be improved to definite extent with added N methylpyrrolidone and sulfolane.
