Abstract:
Cross-linked gel systems consisting of low molecular weight cationic modified guar gum(LMWCGG) and borax were studied.Effects of LMWCGG concentration,borate concentration and pH value on formation of the gel systems were investigated,and stable LMWCGG cross-linked gel systems were obtained.Furthermore,the rheological properties of the gel systems were studied.The results show that the gel systems possess fine viscoelasticity and shear thinning property.Non-linear co-rotational Jefferys model can be applied ...
