    Frequency-Domain Link Adaptation Scheme for Turbo Coded OFDM

    • 摘要: 针对最优比特与功率加载算法需完全已知信道质量信息而在实际系统不可行的问题,提出基于资源块互信息的实用解决方案;针对频率选择性衰落和Turbo码交织深度要求较高的问题,提出根据互信息为不同资源块计算调制方式而对多个资源块内插计算相同码率的频域链路自适应解决方案。分析与仿真结果表明:基于资源块互信息的频域链路自适应解决方案能获得接近最优比特与功率加载算法的频谱效率。

       

      Abstract: The complete channel quality information is required to implement optimal bit and power loading algorithm, which is difficult to attain in practical system. To this end, this paper proposes a solving method based on resource block (RB) mutual information. A frequency domain link adaptative scheme is adopted to cope with the problems of combating frequency selective fading and insufficiency interleavingdepth of advanced channel coding (Turbo/LDPC). Firstly, modulation order is computed based on mutual information for each RB. And then, a uniform code rate is interpolated for multiple RBs. Both the analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method can obtain the spectrum efficiency very close to optimal bit and power loading algorithm.
