Abstract:
Poly(sulfonyl-1,4-phenyleneiminoterephthaloylimino-1,4-phenylene) i. e. Polysulfone Amide abb PSA ultrafiltration membranes with a water flux of 118.0 mL/cm~2 h and a 90,6% rejection (98.07 kPa)for PSA were prepared by phase inversion processes. The experimental results show that the transport properties of the membranes strongly depend on the composition of casting solution, solvent, additives, precipitant system, evaporation time and precipitation temperature. In addition, the results also show that PSA ultrafiltration membrane is one with good thermal, oxidative and chemical stability.
