Abstract:
Due to the large delay,strong nonlinearity and coupling among variables of the rotary kiln production process,an intelligent control strategy based on the integration of conventional loop control and intelligent control is proposed.Firstly the technical process of the rotary kiln production process is introduced.Then the intelligent control strategy,including the adaptive fuzzy control,and soft-switch control,adaptive predictive control is discussed in detail.Finally the intelligent control software is developed and successfully applied to a real rotary kiln production process.The proposed intelligent control strategy is proven to be reliable,accurate and timely control performance and can be generalized to similar processes in the metallurgical and cement industry.
