    Influences of Face Inclination on the Lubrication Performance of Mechanical Seal Rings

    • 摘要: 采用自适应相关函数模拟密封环滑动面的微观表面形貌,建立了机械密封端面倾斜时的滑动面微观流体动压润滑模型。采用有限差分法,利用MATLAB语言进行编程求解,建立了滑动面微观流体动压润滑压力分布和流体膜厚分布的分析方法。在此基础上,研究了端面倾斜对机械密封端面流体膜压力分布、流体膜厚、摩擦力、发热量、泄漏量等润滑性能的影响,得到了一系列规律性曲线,并对规律进行了分析说明。

       

      Abstract: In this paper, micro surface morphology of the seal rings is simulated by the adaptive correlation function. Combining with simulation of rough surface, micro hydrodynamic lubrication model of face inclination is also established. By programming with finite difference method and MATLAB software, the calculations of fluid film pressure distribution and fluid film thickness distribution of micro hydrodynamic lubrication of seal rings under working condition are successfully accomplished. A concrete example is calculated and analyzed. The detail research on the influences of face inclination on the performance of mechanical seal face lubrication such as fluid film thickness, friction, calorific value, leakage is carried out, and a series of performance curves are obtained and explained.
