    Graphical Notations and Implementation of Modeling Tool Based on WS-CDL

    • 摘要: Web服务编排描述语言(WS-CDL)从全局的视角定义了Web服务参与方之间的协作和交互。然而,作为一个业务流程建模语言,WS-CDL规范缺乏对应的图形化标识标准,导致业务人员无法方便地编排流程。为此,设计了一套图形化模型标记WS-CDL-N,该标记与WS-CDL一一对应。并在此基础上,使用GMF框架实现了WS-CDL的图形化编辑器。通过一个电子贸易流程的实例,展示了WS-CDL-N抽象层次高、直观、交互突出等优点。

       

      Abstract: Web services choreography description language (WS-CDL) describes collaborations of Web services participants from a global viewpoint. However, as a modeling language for business process, WS-CDL lacks the corresponding graphical notation standard such that it is difficult for choreographer to conveniently arrange business processes. Therefore, this paper designs a set of graphical model notation, WS-CDL-N,which has one-to-one relationship with WS-CDL. Furthermore, based on WS-CDL-N, a graphical editor is designed for WS-CDL via GMF. Finally, an example of E-commerce process choreography is utilized to show that WS-CDL-N has the features of higher abstraction level, intuitionist, and better interactions between participants.
