    Synthesis of Sodium Acrylate Grafted Polypropylene Wax and Its Nucleating Effect on Crystallization of PET

    • 摘要: 采用溶液法制备了离聚物聚丙烯蜡接枝丙烯酸钠,对其热稳定性和结晶性能进行了表征。将聚丙烯蜡接枝丙烯酸钠与聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)熔融共混,利用差示扫描量热仪(DSC)和扫描电镜(SEM)研究了该类离聚物对PET的结晶性能和形态的影响。结果表明:聚丙烯蜡接枝丙烯酸钠的加入促进了PET的成核,使PET的熔融结晶温度由196.9 ℃升高到210.6 ℃,而冷结晶温度由135.5 ℃降低到124.2 ℃。与PET/聚丙烯蜡相比,聚丙烯蜡接枝丙烯酸钠与PET有更好的相容性。

       

      Abstract: Sodium acrylate grafted polypropylene wax was synthesized by solution technique, and its thermal stability and crystallization behavior were characterized. Composites of PET and sodium acrylate grafted polypropylene wax (ionomer) were prepared by melt-blending. The effect of ionomer on crystallization and morphology of PET/ionomer composites was investigated by DSC and SEM. The results show that PET is heterogeneously nucleated after introduction of sodium acrylate grafted polypropylene wax, the melt-crystallization temperature of PET increased from 196.9 °C to 210.6 °C and the cold-crystallization temperature decreased from 135.5 °C to 124.2 °C. The compatibility between PET and sodium acrylate grafted polypropylene wax is better than that of PET and polypropylene wax.
