Abstract:
Densities and viscosities of naphthaleneethanol(at 294.15-333.15 K) and naphthalenenheptane(at 294.15-339.15 K) solutions with different compositions were measured by calibrated pycnometer and Ubbelohdetype capillary viscometer. The results show that both densities and viscosities decrease with increasing temperature, while increase with increasing molarities of naphthalene. The apparent molar volumes and limiting partial molar volume of naphthalene in ethanol and nheptane are also calculated. The densities and viscosities were related to compositions by VogelTammanFulcher(VTF) equation. The result of this paper provided a reference for the eigineering design.
