    Characterization and Modification of Nanosized TiO_2 Particles

    • 摘要: 利用偶联剂钛酸丁酯对纳米二氧化钛颗粒预处理后,进行甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)的聚合改性,研究了聚合改性物质的结构和改性后纳米二氧化钛的分散性能。钛酸丁酯与氧化钛表面羟基反应,使氧化钛粒子表面生成交联反应物,甲基丙烯酸甲酸与其反应生成PMMA并均匀包敷于纳米二氧化钛颗粒的表面。通过聚合改性后的纳米二氧化钛颗粒在甲苯中具有良好的分散性能。

       

      Abstract: A process was established for the modification of nanosized TiO 2 particles by butyl titanate coupling agent and methyl methacrylate, and the coating structure and the dispersion properties were investigated by TG DTA, FTIR, etc.. The results show that a reaction can take place between titanate and -OH groups on TiO 2 surface,leaving the titanate coupled to the powder surface. Methacrylate (MMA) was engrafted on the surface of nanosized TiO 2 to improve its dispersity and stability.
