Abstract:
Wavelet transform has a wide application in chromatography signal processing. However, for the same signal type, the different selections of wavelet basis function will cause different results. Hence, how to choose a best wavelet basis has been a key problem for the use of the wavelet transform in the signal processing. In this paper, by means of the similarity criteria and the least energy leakage principle, a selecting method on the best wavelet is proposed for the analyzing of overlapping chromatographic peaks. The proposed method integrates the characteristic of chromatography signal and considers the changing of energy at different sampling rates. Furthermore, the appropriate sampling rate can also be selected according to the energy changing with the optimized wavelet basis. Finally, simulation results in the overlapping chromatographic peaks signal processing show that the proposed method is feasible.
