    旋转流变仪测定聚乙烯熔体的“镜面效应”

    • 摘要: 基于通用性旋转流变仪所得的流变试验结果,证实了聚乙烯熔体剪切依赖性与依时性行为之间,剪切粘度与第一法向应力系数之间的对应关系,即镜面效应的存在。结合线性粘弹性理论,由此关系导出的有关计算式,可用于从剪切粘度数据推算第一法向应力系数。计算值与实验值的吻合对于扩展物料函数的估测范围具有实际意义。

       

      Abstract: The aim of the present work is to prove the relationship between time behaviour and shear rate dependence as well as between viscosity and first normal stress coefficient for polyethylene melt. This subject was presented by Dr. Gleissle so far after tests with a special rheometer. New experiments with a commercial type of rotational rheometer have been done to confirm the mirror effect.Based on experimental results and linear viscoelastic theory, an equation was verified by means of which first normal stress coefficient can be evaluated from shear viscosity data. The agreement of calculated with experimental values is of practical importance to extending evaluation range of material functions.
