    Numerical Analysis on Bending of Irregular Plates by Combining the Spline Subdomain Method and the Finite Strip Method

    • 摘要: 将样条子域法及有限条法的基本原理组合,处理不同边界条件的非规则板的弯曲,扩大了两法的应用范围。和有限元相比,具有计算量小、精度高、程序编制方便、容易在微机上实现等优点。在工程设计和计算工作中便于推广使用,并给出了几个实际算例。为了验证组合法的可靠性,还做了一个内外边界均为固支的开大孔板的弯曲实验,计算值和实验值结果相当符合。

       

      Abstract: A new numerical method is presented to deal with the irregular plates with various boundary conditions in bending. It is based on the principles of the spline subdomain method and the finite strip one. As a direct result, the application ranges of these two methods are extended. When compared with the finite element method, the new method has less amount of computation work, higher accuracy, and is more convenient to compile a computer program. Due to these characteristics, it is possible to easily apply the new method to actual engineering design by using personal computers. As its applications, several numerical examples are also provided. In addition, a bending experiment for the plate with a circle hole is performed. The numerical results are fairly in agreement with the experimental ones.
