    The calculation of stress of a mid-thick walled pressure vessel with a large central-holed cover under pressure

    • 摘要: 本文将壳体理论应用到一定工作条件下的压力容器上。讨论受压力作用下的椭球封头开大孔的中厚壁压力容器。计算时,将封头分为两部分,并分别作处理:对上部考虑薄膜应变产生的角变形;下部被当作为圆环壳研究。所得计算值与实验值相符很好。

       

      Abstract: The attempt of the present paper is to extend the application of the shell theory to the pressure vessel under a modified working condition. The case treated here is about a mid-thick walled pressure vessel with a large centrally-holed cover of a ellipsoidal shape and the vessel is under working pressure. In the proceeding of the calculation, the cover is divided transversely into two parts and each part is treated separately. The angular deformation produced by the membrane strain was studied for the upper part while the element of the ring strip of a torus was studied for the under. The calculated values obtained checked well with what the experiments give.
