    Investigating and Using HTML 5 Canvas Techniques in Engineering Flowchart

    • 摘要: 基于HTML 5 Canvas技术研究并实现了一个新型在线流程图协作绘制平台,其优势主要有:数据集中存储在云端,方便共享与协作;可自由定制任务节点的元信息,为节点增加绑定附件的功能;支持创建流程图模板,使用户可以“一次绘制、多次使用”。最后,通过在实际工程项目系统中的应用,验证了该工具具备灵活性、可协作性、易用性等特点。

       

      Abstract: Most of flowchart tools are stand alone version which is difficult to share by users. At the same time, a small number of exiting online tools are neither browser compatible nor open source, and most of them are large and complex. In addition, the meta information of all existing nodes in these flowcharts are limited. In this paper, we introduce the basic concepts and techniques of flowchart, and a flowchart of a new online collaborative editing tool based on HTML 5 Canvas techniques is achieved. This tool is easy to share and collaborate as the data are stored at a cloud server, free to customize the meta information of task nodes and capable of binding file attachments. Furthermore, this tool provides a template function that allows users to "draw once, use many times". Finally, a real project using this tool is created and shows that the tool is flexible, interoperable and easy to use.
