Abstract: This paper deals with the problem of sliding mode control (SMC) for It stochastic system with state and input delays. A novel switching function is constructed. This function not only effectively solves the design of SMC law for stochastic systems with state and input delays, but also guarantees that the system initially lies on the specified sliding surface such that the robustness of the system can be ensured throughout the entire response of the system starting from the initial time instance. By means of linear matrix inequality (LMI), a sufficient condition for the asymptotic stability (in probability) of sliding motion is derived. A simulation example is shown to illustrate the proposed method.
