    Glass Forming Region and Crystallization Behavior of TeO2-B2O3-BaO Glass

    • 摘要: 利用淬冷法、差热分析(DTA)、X射线衍射(XRD)和拉曼光谱研究了TeO2-B2O3-BaO玻璃的形成区和析晶行为。结果显示二元系统容易析出晶体,如γ-TeO2α-TeO2、BaTe4O9和BaTe2O5等,而三元系统玻璃有较宽广的玻璃形成范围和较强的抗析晶能力,适用于碲酸盐玻璃光纤的皮料。

       

      Abstract: Glass forming region and crystallization behavior of TeO2-B2O3-BaO glass were studied by quenching method, differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectrum. The results showed that crystals like γ-TeO2, α-TeO2, BaTe4O9 and BaTe2O5 were precipitated in binary system. However, glass forming region for the ternary system is satisfactorily large and devitrification tendency of the glasses in the region has been improved, indicating that the glass might be potential cladding glass of tellurite optical fiber.
