    Preparation of PTFE Composite Filled with MWCNTs and Flat Head Small Punch Test

    • 摘要: 采用冷压烧结法制备了经过不同表面处理和不同含量多壁碳纳米管(MWCNTs)改性的聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)材料,探索采用平头型小冲杆测试方法对材料进行性能测试。得到了材料的载荷 位移曲线,发现不同的表面处理和不同含量的MWCNTs对聚四氟乙烯复合材料性能具有不同的增强效果。通过对填充材料的扫描电镜(SEM)分析,认为MWCNTs可以导致PTFE材料纤维韧性强化的倾向。

       

      Abstract: A new kind composite was prepared by using polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as matrix and filled with different contents surface treated MWCNTs by “cold pressing and sintering”. The flat type small punch test for material performance is introduced for measuring the mechanics properties of the prepared material. The flat head small punch test can obtain rich information of the mechanic properties by using small amount of material. A series of curves of load displacement were obtained and these curves show that the different surface treatments and different contents MWCNTs will produce different enhancement effects. By the SEM of PTFE composites analyzing, it is found that the MWCNTs lead to the fibration and toughness of PTFE.
