Abstract:
The influences of minim Co,Ni,Pb and Cd on electrolytic production of iron in chloride and sulfate baths are studied. The experimental data show that the deposition of iron proceeds with significant overvoltage, which depends on the type of electrolyte and temperature. The deposition of Fe Co and Fe Ni as well as Fe Cd is anomalous co deposition type. The deposition behaviors of Pb in chloride and in sulfate baths are different. Only in the sulfate baths, content of Pb in electrolyzed Fe is lower than it is in the bath.
