Abstract:
The dendritic copolymer poly(Llactide)dendronpoly(ethylene glycol)dendronpoly(Llactide) was characterized by 1HNMR spectra and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The result shows that the synthesized copolymer has the expected structure. Polymeric micelles were prepared by adding water into the tetrahydrofuran (THF) solution of poly(Llactide)dendronpoly(ethylene glycol)dendronpoly(Llactide). Scanning electronic microscope (SEM), atomic force microscope (AFM), dynamic light scattering (DLS) were used to investigate morphology, size and size distribution of the micelles before and after freeze drying. The experimental results reveal that the copolymer micelle is a vesicle with hollow construction. Potential molecular packing model for the walls of the copolymer micelles may be the bilayer architecture or the monolayer interdigitate architecture. After freeze drying, the micelles are redispersed easily and invariable.
