Abstract:
The fan-shaped sliding bush of thrust bearing was investigated.Adopting cylindrical coordinates to discrete the two-dimensional Reynolds equation,the dimensionless expressions of loading capa-(city,) generating heat,oil flow rates,and temperature rising were obtained.By using of the numerical computation,the influence of structure parameters,such as the ratio of bush heights,ratio of length to width,and bush numbers on the lubrication properties of the thrust bearings were investigated.A method to(determine) the optimum structure parameters of thrust bearing was proposed,which is helpful to design the thrust bearing.
