Abstract: The growth of Chicken embryo cells,the utilization of glucose and the accumulation of metabolic products such as lactic acid and ammonia were investgated.The progressive effects of media to the chicken embryo cell growth were compared.The suitable microcarriels were chosen.And the methods of chicken embryo cell culture by microcarricrs were given. It was found that chicken embryo cells grow well in DMEM mcdium and the optimum micro-carrier is collagen-type microcarrier,such as GT-2, Cytodex-3.
