    手性液晶的研究——Ⅴ.对光活性的酰氧基苯甲酸酯类和酰氧基苯酚酯类

    • 摘要: 合成了文题所述化合物,四类,19个。经元素分析、质谱和红外光谱确证了其分子结构,并测定了它们的相变温度,确定了其液晶相类型。再由电滞回线测定,证明MHxOPNB等七个化合物是新型铁电液晶,其S_C~*相范围接近室温。增长化合物末端基团,有利于液晶相的形成;增长手性基团的碳链,则有利于S_C~*相的形成,并增加液晶的相变宽度。

       

      Abstract: Four new series of chiral esters, were synthesized. Their structure were determined by using IR, mass spectrum and element analysis. Phase transition temperature and phase states of these compounds were also determined. Some of these compounds exhibit ferroelectricity and chiral Smectic C(S_c~*) phase at moderate temperature. From the four series compounds, increasing the terminal group is helpful to the forming of liquid crystal, and increasing the length of chiral group is helpful to the forming of S_c~* phase and the widening of liquid crystal phase transition temperature.
