    Effect of Ethanol on Controlling Synthesis of MgO Modified Silica Hollow Spheres

    • 摘要: 以Gemini表面活性剂GEM16-6-16为模板剂,乙醇为调控剂,采用共聚或浸渍方法,合成了MgO-SiO2复合材料。分别采用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、透射电镜(TEM)等方法对该复合材料进行了表征,结果表明:该材料为粒径600~700 nm的纳米空心球,部分MgO晶体在空心球体表面生长。通过研究GEM16-6-16在乙醇水溶液中的结构特征,探讨了以其为模板剂合成空心球结构的机理

       

      Abstract: Using Gemini surfactants GEM16-6-16 as template and ethanol as controlling agent, MgO-SiO2 complexes hollow spheres were synthesized by co-condensation or impregnation methods. As observed by XRD, SEM and TEM, the complexes are hollow spheres with diameter of 600 to 700 nm, and some of the MgO crystals grow on the surface of hollow spheres. The synthesis mechanism of hollow spheres was tentatively elucidated by studying the change of micelle structures of GEM16-6-16 in ethanol aqueous solutions with different molar ratios of ethanol to water, and also the effects of ethanol on the competition between hydrolysis and condensation of TEOS.
