    Studies on Gas Holdup and Mass Transfer in a Three Phase Reversed Flow Jet Loop Reactor with Non Newtonian Fluids

    • 摘要: 在三相非牛顿型流体体系中,对下喷式环流反应器的气含率和传质特性进行了实验研究。讨论了气速、液速、导流筒直径与反应器直径比、固体装填量、羧甲基纤维素钠溶液浓度及其流变特性对它们的影响。实验结果表明,气含率和传质系数随气速的增加而增加,而液速对其影响较小。在实验条件下,发现最优的导流筒直径与反应器直径比在0.4 ̄0.5这一范围,最优的固体装填量约为ψ=0.03,同时提出了气含率和容积传质系数的经验关联

       

      Abstract: Gas holdup and mass transfer of a reversed flow jet loop reactor in gas liquid solid three phase with non Newtonian fluids were examined experimentally. The influence of gas flow rate, liquid flow rate, draft tube to the reactor diameter, solid volume fraction, CMC solution concentration and its rheological property on gas holdup and volumetric mass transfer coefficient were discussed. It was observed that gas holdup and volumetric mass transfer coefficient increased with increasing gas flow rate and that liquid flow rate had little infuence on gas holdup and a little influence on volumetric mass transfer coefficient. It was also found that the optimum draft tube to reactor diameter ratio was in the range of 0.4 to 0.5, and the optimum solid volume fraction was about 3% under the experimental condition. Empirical corrections are presented for the gas holdup and volumetric mass transfer coefficient, which may be useful in the design of the reactor.
