Abstract:
Abstract: The study is to isolate and elucidate the structure of secondary metabolites produced by fungal strain ZME. Strain ZME was identified according to its morphology and sequence. Ethyl acetate and methanol were used to extract fermentation broth and mycelium of strain ZME, respectively. The extract was isolated and purified by silica gel column chromatography and semi preparative HPLC. Chemical structures of the purified fractions were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis. Results show that strain ZME belongs to Beauveria feline. Five compounds are isolated from the extract and their structures are elucidated as Isaridin B, Isaridin A, Roseocardin, Roseotoxin B and Destruxin B. These five compounds are cyclodepsipeptides, among which Roseocardin has antibacterial activity.
